Proper Burning

One should never burn Code Black Incense in its pure form. The product is concentrated and should be burned with other herbs in the herbal incense burner.

One such herb is known as Lion's Tail. This herb smells very good while the incense is burning yet allows the Code Black Incense scent to come through. If the reader is new to the world of herbal incense a small pinch is all that will be required.

The Lion's Tail also has many medicinal benefits beyond having a good fragrance. It is known as a vasodiolator and as such will allow the person experiencing its scent to achieve a much better experience. An amusing side note: The Xhosa tribe considered the Lion's Tail herb a substitute for marijuana and smoked it for it's euphoric effects. The author does not suggest this though! Burn only as an incense combined with a small amount of Code Black Incense.

The Lion's Tail herb may be purchased online from several sources. A simple web search will produce many results. Try to find a retailer that sells whole buds or pure flowers of the plant and grind them yourself. This produces a much more enjoyable experience.
